Where the tower goes
From the FULMINARE air log
A purifier does not reach out and grab anything. It sits there and pulls, and it can only pull the air that makes it to the intake. Placement is most of the job.
Off the wall, off the floor
The towers pull through a 360-degree intake, so a hand-width of clearance on all sides matters more than which room corner you pick. A nightstand or a dresser beats the floor: the air you breathe at night is at pillow height, not at ankle height.
Not behind the curtain
Fabric is the natural enemy of an intake. A tower tucked behind a curtain or wedged between the couch and the wall runs the same watts and moves half the air. Same goes for the inside of a bookshelf, however tidy it looks there.
Door open or shut
A shut door turns the room into a box the tower can actually finish. Leave it open and you have quietly tripled the space; the unit keeps up, it just never gets ahead. For bedrooms, shut the door an hour before sleep and let the low setting hold the line overnight.
Rooms to skip
Kitchens coat a filter in cooking film faster than any bedroom would with dust, and bathroom moisture is not what a pleated cartridge wants either. Park the tower in the rooms where you sit still: bedroom, office, the reading end of the living room.
